About me

I'm Sophia Ucer, fifteen years old, and I train at Cinema Makeup School in Los Angeles. Every piece in this portfolio was built by hand during the summer intensive program, no digital compositing, no filters, no shortcuts.

My work focuses on wound simulation, burn trauma, and realistic injury effects: the kind of craft that has to survive HD cameras, sweat, and eight-hour shooting days. I research anatomy before I pick up a brush.

I'm building toward a career in film and television SFX and I'm actively looking for opportunities to learn on set. I show up ready to work, take direction seriously, and treat every application like it belongs on camera.

The honest pitch

I'm fifteen, formally trained, and already thinking like a working artist. Every wound, bruise, and burn on this page was sculpted, painted, and blended by my own hands during a summer intensive at Cinema Makeup School. Nothing here is digital. Nothing here is filtered. I'm looking for the next step: an apprenticeship, internship, or paid role on a film, television, haunt, or lab crew. SFX is my first love, but I'm equally open to makeup artist apprenticeships, beauty, editorial, and everything in between. If you have room on your team, if you remember what it was like to be young and hungry for the craft, or if you just need another dependable pair of hands on set, I would be honored to hear from you.
